The Net and The Nest

Hello mosaic people,

I was praying for a family who lost their little girl this morning. As I said the words, they spoke right back to me.

“Lord, catch them in your net.”

The Lord truly is our net. He holds us and keeps us from falling into the pit of despair, and if we do fall, He is there as well.

“Lord, be their nest.”

He protects and shields us if we allow Him. The Word says He covers us with His feathers and gathers us in like a mother hen with her chicks. 

I have experienced God’s faithful net and nurturing nest during times when I didn’t know how I’d go on. He is truly faithful if only we allow Him to be the one we fall into.

Offer your overwhelm, your hurt, your depression, your pain to the Faithful One.

He is the net and the nest.
